Senior Data Engineer Key Skills and experience: Building and maintaining data pipelines in Databricks Platform Big data engineering coding in Python or Scala ETL Process Development Data Engineering Technologies - Delta Lake, Azure Data Factory, Apache Spark etc. T-SQL and SSIS Packages Collaborative and works well in a team environment Ability to demonstrate leadership Strong communication and influencing skills Senior Data Engineer Responsibilities: Contributing towards data solutions in line with the data strategy, roadmap and architectural vision Mentoring and coaching other Engineers Working in an Agile team following Agile principles Achieving Data Engineering metric Contributing towards continual improvement and legacy systems decommissioning Actively contribute to all aspects of team delivery Participate in relevant chapter meetings and working in alignment with agreed standards Ownership of data engineering solutions ensuring standards and quality are met Developing technical solutions that fit into the overarching architecture, technology and data strategy Salary and benefits (Including but not limited to): Great salary reflective of experience up to £60,000 Remote working Company pension scheme Private medical insurance Enhanced sick pay 25 days annual leave plus banks and an extra day off for your birthday Multiple travel schemes This Senior Data Engineer vacancy is being handled by Langham Recruitment Ltd.
