Data Engineer (ODS/SSIS)

Piper Companies is looking for an Data Engineer for a financial services firm. This role is 100% remote.

Responsibilities for the Data Engineer:

• Design and develop SSIS solutions and process documentation for real world data applications
• Lead reconciliation efforts to ensure data is loaded into the ODS accurately

Qualifications for the Data Engineer:

• 5+ years of data engineering experience in an ODS environment
• Proficiency in modifying SSIS packages
• Proficient in SQL Server upgrades - performance tuning ideal
• Knowledge of writing complex SQL queries to move data from various sources
• Understanding of database structures, normalization, de-normalization
• Redshift and/or Snowflake experience – a plus

Compensation/Benefits for the Data Engineer:

• $120,000 - $130,000
• 100% remote
