Senior Machine Learning Engineer (m/f/d)

Your tasks

• Identify, evaluate and assess AI/ML use-cases with regards to their business impact, technical feasibility, optimal ML architectures and data availability, with a particular focus on ‘making ideas real’.
• Hands-on development of innovative solutions for our AI/ML projects and products across all our product and operative divisions, such as Test and Measurement, Technology Systems and Manufacturing and Production
• Work with large, structured and unstructured datasets from different technological domains (large language models & NLP, computer vision, digital signal processing, communications) including data analysis and preparation, model building and validation
• Participate in the company-wide dissemination of the developed use-cases including giving AI briefings and communicating the potential and value of an AI solution to internal stakeholders.

Your Qualifications

• MSc or PhD in natural sciences (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) with focus on AI, machine learning and data driven technologies.
• Enjoy working in an international, strongly collaborative team.
• Practical working experience in machine learning projects and theoretical knowledge in data analysis (machine learning and statistics) and data discovery
• Experience in software development with Python, preferably also with Java or C++
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in German and English
