Your Impact:

We are looking for an exceptionally talented Machine Learning Engineer to be part of a fast paced team that uses Machine Learning to build innovative products for organizations to easily discover, classify, and protect highly sensitive data across SaaS applications. Our team finds solutions to hard problems, is innovative in finding data, builds models, and puts them into production. We produce several patents every year.

• Architect and assume end-to-end ownership of Machine Learning service implementations in production while optimizing for scalability, performance and code quality

• Be a Technical Leader to handle cloud deployment requirements from data scientists, develop and drive ML best practices and processes across the board

• Design and develop the large-scale and efficient machine learning ETL pipelines to serve multiple detection applications

• Design and implement the database and data storage for day-to-day machine learning training, feature engineering and model validation

• Build auto-scale data engineering systems using Google Cloud (GCP) toolkits with high performance computation

• Build and monitor the dashboard to evaluate machine learning metric and performance and raise alerts if a model is not performing well

• Blog and conference publications

Your Experience:

• BS / MS in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field

• 8+ years industry / academia experience in software development, minimum 3 years as a machine learning engineer

• Strong software engineering skills in JVM languages (Java, Scala) and scripting languages (Bash, Python). Knowledge of Go is a plus

• Basic knowledge of machine learning model building and testing

• Be an excellent programmer; experience and knowledge of popular OSS and/or commercial software such as PyTorch, TensorFlow ElasticSearch, MySQL, Grafana, MongoDB, etc.

• Proven track record of implementing and delivering large-scale data engineering systems for machine learning projects in AWS or GCP

• Deep understanding of Cloud toolkits for data engineering and machine learning; Hands-on experience of applying them into previous projects, such as BigQuery, Dataproc, Dataflow, Kubeflow, EMR etc.

• Thorough understanding of ML Ops best practices, ability to design, test, measure algorithms/models and orchestrate

• Experience with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch and TensorFlow, Computer Vision, NLP, or related areas is a plus

• Have a get stuff done attitude, enjoy being hands-on and working alongside the team to solve the most pressing problems in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

• Bonus: Passion for security, prior experience in NLP and/or security products or services
