(Senior) Data Engineer (Python) - Adtech (f/m/d)

We are looking for (Senior) Data Engineers (Python) (f/m/d) to join our AdTech tribe. Contribute to the creation of our next generation platform, that helps our partners - such as restaurants but also local shops - to scale their business. About AdTech Tribe

We are here to build the best ad solutions for the local delivery market. Our AdTech tribe is implementing solutions for running ads campaigns, serving best matching ads on the brands’ websites and mobile apps, tracking and collecting information about users interaction with ads, building data pipelines that enable reports, insights and machine learning algorithms. We are deploying often and moving very fast with self-sufficient cross-functional squads that work collaboratively according to the “we build it, we run it” principle.

Your Mission

• You will build end-to-end data pipelines to enable training and running of machine learning models

• Develop measures of data and model quality, and automated tests of the quality of data powered features

• Integrate the code, produced by data scientists and data analysts into data pipelines

• Perform on-going reviews of our current applications and provide recommendations to improve them

• Communicating with different teams regarding data consistency and data availability

• Create proofs of concepts with new technologies and drive innovation

• You develop strategy and processes to ensure data quality and consistency

• You will communicate closely with Business and Product Analyst to enrich data sources with necessary data fields

• You will create real-time pipelines to provide Product and Business teams with real time data

• You will develop monitoring and alerting tools to ensure high quality of collected data

Your Heroic Fundamentals

• You passionate about data and have computer science fundamentals

• You are pragmatic engineer who understands what is needed to get things done in a collaborative manner

• You always strive for clean, tested and well-documented code across your team

• You are running, maintaining and deploying your own code to production

• You eager to work in a fast-paced, fault-tolerant and agile environment

• You believe in cross-functional teams and know that responsibility does not end with deployment

• You love to learn and constantly improve your own skills, and are not afraid to jump into new things

Your Heroic Skills

• 2+ years of experience building data pipelines in a professional working environment

• Experience with processing of large amounts of structured and unstructured data

• Expert knowledge of SQL (PL/SQL)

• Expert knowledge of Python, experience with web frameworks

• Good understanding of the distributed data processing

Nice to Have Skills

• General Data Science knowledge: basic statistics, AI and ML concepts

• Experience with Docker, Travis, Airflow, Terraform, Spark, Redshift, BigQuery, k8s
