#About the role

  • This role will lead marketing analytics for our Global Marketing team, working closely with stakeholders across a variety of functions and levels.
  • You’ll focus on the continuous improvement and ongoing success of all marketing campaigns based on performance and data-driven insights.
  • You’ll oversee ongoing tracking, analyzing, and reporting monthly results, sharing learnings and best practices with the Global Marketing team, founders, GMs and local markets.


#Responsibilities

  • Analyze external and internal customer data using database queries, spreadsheet models, web analytics tools, statistical analysis tools and campaign management software tools
  • Be responsible for tracking, reporting, and analyzing the performance of marketing activities, ad-hoc analytic requests, and development/automation of regular reports, as well as developing and maintaining reporting dashboards, workflow tools, documentation and tracking for key campaigns and programs
  • Continuously test, analyze, and evaluate marketing tactics and strategies in the acquisition of new leads, applicants and students, communicating results and providing recommendations to global and local marketing teams
  • Develop and conduct training to ensure all team members maintain working knowledge of marketing analytics tools and develop and share best practices
  • Collaborate with senior leaders on marketing performance in order to determine budgetary allocation approaches within the department
  • Provide actionable overall market and customer insights to address key strategic questions in marketing planning
  • Create presentations and documents to provide market and consumer insights to other marketing and sales departments


#Must haves

  • A degree in a business related or technical field, for example: Marketing, Information Technology, Computer Science, or Business Administration.
  • 3-5 years working in marketing analytics, data, or related fields.
  • A proven ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • A deep understanding of channel attribution and a variety of data analysis concepts such as conversions, CAC, ROI, Cohort analysis, etc.
  • Strong experience in the administration of web analytics tools, ideally Google Analytics, G4 or PiwikPRO.
  • Experience in tracking: development of tagging plans, Google Tag Manager is a must (tracking of new features, campaigns and traffic sources: Google, Facebook, etc).
  • Some knowledge of HTML, CSS, Javascript is highly valued.
  • Familiarity with business intelligence platforms (Metabase, Data Studio, etc) and experience working with basic SQL queries.
  • Attention to detail and being extremely numbers-oriented.
  • Ideally some experience with budgeting
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Results-focus: you are very focused on delivering on your commitments and goals.
  • Passion for the education sector with a drive for changing people’s lives.
  • Great collaboration skills with a distinct growth mindset; you don’t accept “it can’t be done” and instead figure out a way to make it happen.


#Nice to have

  • Experience working with Hubspot/Salesforce or similar CRMs.
  • Experience with no code automations in tools like Zapier or Integromat.
  • Knowledge on how to implement Server Side Tracking with Google Tag Manager.
  • Knowledge of data ingestion tools such as Fivetran, Airbyte or Portable.
  • Experience using SQL in dbt for data transformations.
