What You Will Do : Design and develop high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems, delivering high-availability and performance. Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle. Write well designed, testable, efficient code. Ensure designs are in compliance with specifications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. Unit-test code, usability, reliability and performance testing of code/app. What You Need : Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / Engineering or a related subject Experience in database development and Oracle environments Must have 6+ yrs. experience in Oracle / PL-SQL, Python/Scala/spark Great analytical skills with hands on experience writing effective SQL/PL SQL queries Experience in scheduling tool Example - Autosys Experience with Data analysis, KSH (kornshell) & Perl Script Hands on exposure into Unix, Unix shell Scripting must need Exposure into Data Warehousing /ETL tool, SAS good to have Perform Deliverables support release deployment activities Experience doing SQL testing and documenting test cases. Knowledge on Health care domain will be added advantage Experience in AWS will be added advantage. Experience in Bigdata tools such as Sqoop, Hive, Hadoop eco system - AWS, Cloudera good to have.
