The Independent Health and Aged Care Pricing Authority’s (IHACPA) vision to design pricing systems that promote safe, efficient health and aged care for all Australians. This is implemented through activity based funding (ABF) which provides incentives for efficiency and increases transparency in the delivery and funding of public hospital services across Australia.
In response to the Royal Commission into Aged Care Quality and Safety, the Commonwealth Government announced that IHACPA’s functions is expanded to include providing advice to the Commonwealth Minister for Health and Aged Care on aged care pricing matters.
IHACPA is seeking an enthusiastic candidate to fill the vacancy of Data Manager. This position designs, implements and manages the data collection process and system, from data acquisition to provision of high quality data sets in data warehouse for users within IHACPA.
