RESPONSIBILITIES
Our unit Business Reporting I is responsible for the development of reports using BI-Tools, as well as for the development of back end structures for BI-data consumption.
Within this framework, you develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analyses and other strategies.
You modify databases according to requests, perform tests and design conceptual as well as logical data models and flowcharts.
Further, you optimize DB-performance by conducting tests, troubleshooting, and integrating new elements.
You liaise with your IT colleagues to improve applications and establish best practices.
Finally, you locate and define new process improvement opportunities, suggesting new database products and services.
QUALIFICATIONS
university degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Data Analytics or an Engineering Discipline with a strong quantitative focus
proven working experience as a data engineer or database developer and keen interest in innovations
good understanding of ETL (Alteryx, Trifacta, Databricks, Azure Data Factory) and SQL programming
knowledge in data visualization tools (eg Tableau, Power BI)
creative and motivated team player with sound English skills
