Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree with a grad date of May 2023
- Desired educational experience include, but are not limited to: Computer Science, Engineering, IT, Management Information Systems, Data Analytics, Applied Mathematics, and Business.
- Desire candidates with prior Data Engineer/ETL competencies and prior experience with successful enablement of Data Delivery initiatives.
- Understanding of current and emerging IT products, services, processes and methodologies.
- Experience in the following disciplines is preferred: PL/SQL, Python, PYSPARK, Thoughtspot, AWS EMR, data warehousing architecture, and data modeling.
- Experience in docker or any containerization technology is preferred
- Ability to collaborate daily with technology teams and business partners to facilitate improved alignment of technology initiatives to business strategies
- May present complex information to next level of management
Independently review, prepare, to perform root cause analysis to identify permanent resolutions to software or business process issues
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be able to communicate with business users in non-technical terms.
- Analytical approach with a strong ability to uncover and resolve problems by delivering innovative approaches and solutions.
- Strong ability to estimate project tasks and to deliver upon committed dates. Ability to develop and maintain systems according to a defined set of standards.
- Ability to set and manage own priorities effectively in a dynamic organization.

Compensation
The listed annualized base pay range is primarily based on analysis of similar positions in the external market. Actual base pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range based on factors including but not limited to performance, proficiency and demonstration of competencies required for the role. The base pay is just one component of The Hartford’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term or annual bonuses, long-term incentives, and on-the-spot recognition. The annualized base pay range for this role is:
$68,160 - $102,240
