Key Role:
Apply technical and analytical expertise to explore and examine data from multiple disparate sources with the goal of discovering patterns and previously hidden insights, providing a competitive advantage or addressing a pressing business problem. Exhibit expertise in computer science, software development, and the latest technologies to design and implement analysis infrastructure and tools, analytic workflow processes, and complex data visualizations. Leverage knowledge of mathematical and statistical concepts, computer science, or a domain to bridge the gap between technologists and mathematicians, ensuring software solutions meet analytic requirements. Develop predictive models of system performance and guide decision makers towards optimal design. Apply broad domain expertise to comprehend data origins and context to ensure data consistency, merge data sources together, and help others to gain a better comprehension of data. This position is open to remote delivery anywhere within the U.S., to include the District of Columbia.
Basic Qualifications:
Experience with Python, R, Octane, or MATLAB
Knowledge of Natural Language Processing
Knowledge of machine learning concepts and graphics processing unit capabilities
Knowledge of relevant statistical measures, including confidence intervals and significance of error measurements and developing and evaluating data sets
Ability to obtain a security clearance
Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Cognitive Science, Operations Research, Applied Math, Engineering, Bioinformatics, or Neuroscience
Additional Qualifications:
Experience with designing and developing software applications
Experience with developing statistical and simulation models
Experience in natural language processing topics, including tagging, syntactic parsing, word sense disambiguation, topic modeling, contextual text mining, or application of deep learning to NLP
Experience with developing experimental and analytic plans for data modeling processes and using excellent baselines
Ability to accurately determine cause and effect relationships

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
The proposed salary range for this position in Colorado is 110,000 to 120,000. Final salary will be determined based on various factors.
