- Academic / Proven experience in NLP andML, or similar experience in developing language technologies forshipping products.
- Strong coding and software engineeringskills in a mainstream programming language, such as Python, Go,C/C++.
- Familiarity with NLP/ML tools andpackages like pyTorch, TensorFlow, etc.
- Practical experience building productionquality applications related to natural language processing andmachine learning.
- In-depth knowledge of machine learningalgorithms and ability to apply them in data driven naturallanguage processing systems.
- Ability to quickly prototype ideas /solutions, perform critical analysis, and use creative approachesfor solving complex problems.
- Ability to collaborate closely withmulti-functional teams
- Clear oral and writtencommunication

You will research and develop innovative ML strategies forchallenging problems that will affect Siri in future Appleproducts, for example, how Siri Music works on the Apple Watch, orhow Reminders work on the HomePod. Along with your colleagues,you’ll look at the user interactions we want to achieve, proposealgorithmic solutions, choose the right datasets and design theoptimization metrics for your innovations. You’ll bring theseinnovations to life by working alongside your software developmentpartners to take them all the way to production. You areself-motivated, excellent problem solver, a go-getter. You arequick to form relationships and work well with change andambiguity. You have strong programming skills with tried experiencecrafting, prototyping, and delivering advanced algorithmicsolutions.
