Title: Senior Data Scientist
This position is based remotely anywhere in the U.S.
Overview of Position
The Senior Data Scientist will be responsible for supporting the integration of analytics into our (RCM) Revenue Cycle Management Analytics line of product solutions for Change Healthcare, reporting to the VP of Engineering, Platform Integration Services.
The ideal candidate will have a background in working with large data sets and have experience in building and deploying data-driven, innovative solutions.
What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?
Deliver Advanced Analytics products to significantly improve the user experience for Providers (e.g., Doctors, Medical Assistants, Pharmacists), Patients, and Payers (e.g., Medicare, Health Insurance)
Augment Business Intelligence dashboard with AI-driven recommendations, root-cause analysis and outliers' detection.
Contribute to data pipeline and data preparation (Scala/Spark)
Build, test, and deploy predictive models through batch & API in an AWS ecosystem (e.g., Sagemaker).
Work closely with product management teams and platform engineering teams to change Healthcare in the US
What are the minimum requirements needed to be considered for this position?
Ph.D. in a STEM discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
2+ years enterprise experience in launching a data-driven product with large-scale systems utilizing Predictive Analytics, Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing, or Computer Vision (having Andrew Ng books at your bedside)
Experience with statistical software (e.g., Python, R, MATLAB) and database languages (e.g., SQL, Scala)
Experience managing internal client-facing projects, troubleshooting technical issues working with cross-functional stakeholders
