We are looking for an experienced strong Snowflake Engineer and 10+ years of experience. The ideal candidate should have experience in Snowflake, SnowSQL, SnowPipe, Python, Tasks, Streams, Time travel, Optimizer, Metadata Manager, data sharing, and stored procedures. The candidate must be analytic, creative and self-motivated with an ever improvement approach. The candidate should also be able to work effectively within a global team environment. Additionally, the candidate should have knowledge of ETL tools such as DBT, Advanced SQL along with good Python scripting skills. Knowledge of SQL databases, such as Snowflake and other SQL flavors, is also necessary. Furthermore, the candidate should have excellent SQL coding skills, excellent communication and documentation skills, and be familiar with Agile delivery process. Knowledge of data modelling is a plus. Additional skills such as SQL Server Integration Service (SSIS) development experience, PowerBI Development experience, and Dataiku Development experience are also desirable.Experienced in Agile WoW. An Agile mentality and proactiveness are a mustCollaborative and progressive approach to engineering. Experience using Jira/Azure Dev Ops.Exposure to modern development practices like Mob programming, Test driven development, or Pair programming experience.Some knowledge of Data Mesh and Data ProductSome experience with modern DevOps practices: CI/CD, Github, Automation Testing, etc.Technologies like Snowflake, DBT, Kubernetes, Qlik Replicate, Fivetran/HVRAdvanced knowledge of some of the following languages - Python, Scala, R, Java, and SQLDomain knowledge: Understanding of manufacturing, supply chain, logistic, product development life cycle.
Experience of visualisation technologies (we are focused on Power BI and Qlik Sense),Understanding of the structure, provenance and meaning of the source data crucial to these data domains.Knowledge of data privacy, GxP, GDPR regulation.
