Associate Data Analyst

Position Overview:

The Associate Data Analyst is responsible for collecting data from various sources, designing and building modules to scrape the data from public sources on the internet. The Associate Data Analyst will process the data through an ETL tool and document the required process changes, if/when applicable. The Associate Data Analyst will also support the data loads and data hygiene/cleansing steps in a scheduled, timely manner. The Associate Data Analyst will work closely with the internal teams to improve the data quality of the database.

Job Responsibilities:

• Collecting data from various sources
• Formatting data and consolidation
• Cleansing and De-duping Data for Data Quality
• Working on Data Related tasks for Various Clients
• Design, Create Scrapers
• Design, create and implement ETL Process to Transform and Load the data.
• Data analysis and research
• Auditing / Tracking changes to the datasets
• Attend teleconference meetings as needed
• Collaborating effectively with other teams to ensure that clients receive a coherent service
• Document procedures for future reference and may make recommendations for data analysis process improvements.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree from Any Stream or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience/Skills Required:

• 1-3 Years of work experience in databases
• Strong knowledge on Database skills like (Oracle, MYSQL, MSSQL and PostgreSQL)
• Knowledge in Integration Tools as in SSIS, Pentaho, Talend and etc.
• Data Scraping knowledge would be a plus.
• Proficient in MS Office
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Good at conducting Internet Research
• Excellent team player abilities with good interpersonal and behavior skills
• Flexibility to work in shifts
