The Challenge

Adobe's Dunamis team is looking for a Sr. Data Engineer, Visualization to join us in shaping the future of our cross platform, real-time, self-serve, integrated system at Adobe that serves various consumption models around dev ops, product analytics, feature attribution, experience attribution, feature co-relation, usage API, personalization, machine learning models.
This role is more than just building beautiful dashboards. As a member of our team, you will play a key role in the development of a visualization engine that automates the creation of business-critical dashboards. To do this, you will partner with Engineering, Product, and other key stakeholders to deliver robust technical solutions that help us continue to delight our millions of Creative Product users.

To do this, you will partner with Engineering, Product, and other key stakeholders to deliver robust technical solutions that help us continue to delight our millions of Creative Product users.
What You'll Do
- Develop and maintain dashboards that are used for tracking performance and developing strategies for business.
- Develop a visualization engine that creates visualizations and reports to drive smart decision-making.
- Act as a thought partner to data engineering to efficiently scale engineering execution and dashboard adoption.
- 5+ years of demonstrated ability in data visualization and analysis within the tech industry.
- Proven experience working with data visualization tools like d3.js (required), Tableau, PowerBI, and R.
- Experience in setting up the vital connection details and scheduling reports, providing security, creating bookmarks, etc.
- Proficient in writing SQL queries on Hadoop, SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle.
- Excellent analytical thinking for translating data into informational visuals and reports.
- Responsible for design methodology and project documentation.
- Able to develop tabular and multi-dimensional models that are compatible with warehouse standards.
- Experienced in writing and maintaining the technical specification documentation for the related work items.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to get to the root cause of problems and devise an analytical approach to reach measurable answers
- 2+ years of experience with Javascript
- 1+ year of experience with React
- Masters degree or PhD in Computer Science or related field
