As Marketing Data Scientist you collaborate closely with different teams especially in the Marketing department to develop a customer and data-driven strategy to drive product evolution, enhance customer experience and deliver growth and financial impact.
You combine different fields of work in statistics and computation to interpret large amounts of complex and big data to provide insights and recommendations for decision - making purposes.
Main responsibilities:
Build and advance production grade models on large-scale datasets to optimize marketing performance by utilizing advanced statistical modeling, machine learning, or data mining techniques and marketing science research.
Support marketing, especially in growth projects by using models to provide meaningful insights on problems such as LTV forecasting, cross-channel optimization, targeting optimization, multi-touch attribution, etc.
Main point of contact and topic expert for our marketing data domain
Regularly share insights from our customers behaviors & journeys to grow and optimize our marketing efforts as well as identify optimal communication channels and strategies
Work with cross-functional teams to implement and improve data-driven solutions around Marketing automation.
Facilitate, support and inspire our company’s data-driven culture: produce reports that are actionable, dashboards that are diagnostic, and recommendations that enhance growth
Collaborate, learn, share, and brainstorm with other data scientists inside and outside of Omio
Collaborate with marketing leadership, design, product and engineering teams
Around three years experience in a Data Science related role, preferably in Marketing or in a scale-up company environment
Advanced degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Informatics, Economics, Engineering or similar; further education in the Data Science field is of benefit
Experience having worked on data science projects in a production environment
Intuition for business drivers combined with a data-driven mindset
Problem solving from a business idea to a functioning data solution
Fluent in a modern programming language such as Python and SQL
Experience using cloud applications on platforms such as GCP, Azure and AWS
You are fluent in English; additional languages are always valued at Omio
