Overview

We are looking for?a Sr Data Analyst to develop and operate the analytics and reporting solutions within Smartsheet to support the design and construction of telecommunications networks. You will be responsible for providing development, implementation, testing, and operations of data reporting system solutions.

You must have experience with SmartSheet and be motivated to find answers and solve problems. Successful candidates will be able to understand the needs of the business, translate that into a vision with defined deliverables, and lead cross-functional resources to deliver. Candidates with analytical background and experience in leading cross-functional teams will have greater success in the role. Candidates should be agile in nature and welcome challenges. This is a virtual position.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Design and develop reporting solutions with the Smartsheet application
• Responsible for development, implementation, testing, and operations of data reporting system solutions
• Use advanced SmartSheet features and capabilities to develop reports and views.
• Create and maintain scalable, reliable, consistent, and repeatable systems that support data operations for Advanced Analytics
• Gather and process raw data at scale (including writing scripts, web scraping, calling APIs, write SQL queries, etc.)
• Profile data to measure quality, integrity, accuracy, and completeness
• Develop and implement tools, scripts, queries, and applications for ETL/ELT and data operations
• Manage life cycle of multiple data sources
• Work closely with stakeholders on the data demand side (analysts and data scientists).
• Work closely with stakeholders on the data supply side (domain experts on source systems of the data)

Desired Skills and Experience

• Bachelors Degree in Business, Computer Science or related field is required
• Advanced SmartSheet skills: dashboards, advanced cross-sheet formulas, widgets, APIs
• Development and implementation of sophisticated Smartsheet reporting
• Working ability to deliver solutions by developing, testing, and implementing code and scripts
• Strong ability to gather data, prepare data, and present data for reporting in Smartsheets
• Preferred experience with SQL, MySQL, and other database technologies experience a plus
• Hands-on working experience with RDBMS, SQL, scripting, and coding – 3 years
• Experience delivering one major system responsible for designing the architecture, implementing, operating, and supporting – 3 years
• Software development/operations and architecture- 2 years
• Successful?candidate should be able to work independently while meeting tight deadlines
• Experience with relational databases and knowledge of query tools and/or statistical software
• Candidate should be considered a SmartSheet expert. Smartsheet Certification or equivalent required
