Data Analyst / Assistant Analyst, Inforce Management (Finance) (210009JY)
PRIMARY LOCATION : HONG KONG

SCHEDULE : Full-time
DESCRIPTION
The job holder will have major job responsibilities as follows:
Data modelling
- Liaise with internal departments (IT, operations, claims etc.) to optimize process of data extraction.
- Discover and identify sources of data to evaluate inforce performance.
- Propose and build data models to optimize inforce portfolio performance.
Reporting support
- Support in automation of existing reporting processes.
- Develop and maintain dashboard and database to track and monitor KPI achievements of Inforce Management Initiatives.
- Generate regular reports to monitor and analyse KPIs to measure inforce book performance.
Support Inforce data initiatives
- Provide data support to inforce initiatives and develop business cases for business opportunities optimization.
- Support other ad-hoc projects.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Graduate or advanced degree qualifications in quantitative related subjects (e.g. Statistics, Finance etc).
- Work experience in data analytics field as statistician / analyst / data scientist is a plus. Fresh graduates are welcomed.
- Solid experience in scripting/programming language like Python, R, SAS.
- Knowledge in business intelligence tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI).
- Strong analytical reasoning and data orientation.
- Previous exposure to / knowledge of insurance industry will be an asset.
- Ability to work in a highly flexible and entrepreneurial environment.
