Summary
The Data Analyst will leverage strong data science and business skills to collect, analyze, and summarize spend and productivity data for the Global Sourcing department. Responsibilities include updating and processing databases, extracting and harmonizing data, developing reporting tools, and providing data analysis and recommendations. The Data Analyst will also support business stakeholders, evaluate new applications and tools, and ensure data integrity.
Responsibilities
- Update and process spend, productivity, and supplier databases
- Extract data from multiple sources and harmonize for reporting
- Develop reporting tools in collaboration with Finance and IT
- Analyze existing reporting tools and provide recommendations for improvement
- Support analysis requests from business stakeholders
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in a STEM or business discipline
- 2 years of work experience in Business Analytics or Data Science
- Experience with all parts of the data analytics pipeline
- Experience in a Life Science, Diagnostics, or Pharma field
- Experience with Data Visualization Tools (Spotfire, PowerBI, etc.)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP or similar ERP systems
- Strong communication and analytical skills
Compensation
The base salary range for this position is $66,000-$75,000. Additional benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance, life and disability insurance, paid time-off, parental benefits, 401k with company match, and employee stock purchase plan.

Please note that base pay is only one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This range allows for the successful candidate to have an opportunity to progress within the position and develop at our company.
