The hiring company is one of market leader in the industry with business across APAC region, they are looking for Big Data Engineer to join the team in the Group.

Responsibilities:

• Hands-on with data preparation, data cleansing and data modelling on clouds (Azure, AliCloud)
• Automate the ETL process, retrieve data from data sources access, data collection to data lake storage and pre-modelling process
• Ensure data quality to allow data scientists build algorithms and models
• Manage the existing and develop new applications in meeting business needs
• Define project plan and manage project with time and resources management on all aspects regarding data warehousing, ETL, hardwares etc.
• Define the workflow to maintain, refresh, update and improve every solution deployed, ensuring data are available model performance and model value at all the time

Requirement:

• Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or other relevant disciplines
• 5-8 years’ hands-on experience in Big Data processing, data cleansing, data preparation, data engineering and AI implementation processes
• With experience in Big Data / AI solution development
• Strong data engineering and data management skills
• Demonstrate a solid understanding of Cloud computing (Azure, AliCloud)
• Experience on Hadoop, Spark, Hortonworks and SQL
• Hands-on with R, Python, Pyspark, Numpay, Tensor Flow
• Demonstrate experience in applying Big Data in Linux environment
• Demonstrate to understand and improve business performance
• Knowledge in NodeJS / ReactJS / React Native / Java is a plus
• Strong communication skills, with a high standard in written and spoken English.
