Data Analyst

My client within the legal sector is looking for an experienced BI / Data Analyst to accept a full-time, permanent position with great career progression opportunities.

My client is based in Newcastle located in close proximity to key transport links and ample parking onsite for those who drive.

Responsibilities

• You will design, develop, deploy, and maintain BI solutions
• Build and maintain effective tools for interaction with 3rd parties.
• Building and analysis of MI to track and monitor performance through KPIs.
• Working with IT and Group users on technical and development projects as required by the business and to agreed timescales
• Assist where necessary with any training requirements and materials arising from new/amended BI/Data Project
• Keep up to date with technical knowledge and industry developments.
• Ensure compliance with Information Security Policies including data confidentiality and the operational security of the Information Systems used.
• Any ad hoc or additional duties as deemed fit and appropriate by the Management Team for this post and the associated level of responsibility attached to it.

Requirements

• Previous experience working as a Data or BI Analyst
• Knowledge of Power BI, SQL, SQL Servers, Excel, XML/JSON/Python programmes
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Able to prioritise workload and manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent attention to detail and able to think outside the box.
• Able to work on projects alone or as part of a team.
• Working knowledge of Proclaim case management system is desirable but not essential.
• Implementation and maintenance of BI solutions and programmes
• Experience of Project Management and working towards tight deadlines
• Experience of working in a fast paced and dynamic environment
• Able to demonstrate strong work ethic and effective communication.
• Problem solving initiative and a solutions-focused approach.
