Data Analyst (Remote or Hybrid)

Job description

Our team is growing and we're adding to our overall Data group. We're seeking a teammate with a strong data management background who understands data, data visualization, analysis and quality metrics. In this role, you will build reports and dashboards as well as analyze data sources for completeness/quality.

Responsibilities


  • Build data quality, operations and metrics reports and dashboards
  • Build complex analytic visualizations around patient, payer, and provider data sets
  • Query and analyze data to provide insights, determine data quality issues and implement reporting around quality and consistency of data
  • Support initiatives for data integrity and normalization
  • Train end users on new reports and dashboards


Competencies


  • 3+ years’ experience working as a data analyst
  • 3+ years’ experience in dashboarding and reporting using tools like Tableau, Looker or Power BI
  • Experience writing complex SQL queries and experience with complex and large data sets
Preferred Qualifications


  • Experience and working knowledge of data in a healthcare data management environment
  • AHIMA Certified Health Data Analyst (CHDA)
