We are currently partnering with a household name bank in the inner west who are seeking a data engineer to support their internal data warehouse and analytics teams (permanent opportunity)

Your New Role

The data engineer will be playing an instrumental part in the upgrade of an entire stack of technologies across a national scale data warehouse.

What You'll Need To Succeed

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in data warehouse and/or BI Development
• Specialist knowledge of SQL Server and a minimum of 5 years' experience in SQL Server development - specifically with SQL Server 2008, '12 & '16 (SSIS, SSRS, SSAS)
• ETL Development specialist with SSIS and/or DataStage
• Prior experience designing and building dashboards in Power BI
• Experience working with large enterprise data warehouse(s)
• Experience data modelling and analysis using 3NF, dimensional and relational databases
• Ability to multi-task and self-motivate
• Strong communication skills

Desired, But Not Required

• Experience working within the financial services sector
• ETL tools such as Boomi
• Prior experience working with QlikView
