We are expanding the nature of the finance performance steering role with advanced analytics. About the team
Within the Finance organization, our Business planning & Performance reporting team is responsible for maximizing value creation in the company. We combine analytical and strategic thinking to proactively identify and support key management decisions with holistic analysis and insight, both within and across functions. As part of this we oversee business planning, target setting, strategy follow up, investments and management reporting. We are embedded across all functions and geographies globally.
Your workdays will consist of
- Developing relevant predictive models and analytics, such as mathematical optimization, econometric methods and decision analysis, to assist in profitability and cash flow forecasting.
- Create the analytics to leverage known, inferred and appended information about origins and recognizing patterns to assist in develop key metric drivers and outlook forecasting.
- Mine and collect data (both structured and unstructured) to detect patterns, opportunities and insights that drive our business as well as trends in the business/industry.
- Troubleshoot forecast and optimization anomalies using statistical and mathematical optimization models. Develop testing to explain and or reduce these anomalies.
You and your skills
In this new role it’s important to have excellent analytical skills and ability to take own initiatives and develop the role. You will be responsible to build and create data analytical capability in the team. You have commitment for delivery and are aligned with good prioritization skills for timely deliverables.
Furthermore, you have excellent computer skills particularly advanced analytics and coding experience e.g. Python. You can paint a picture through analytics and present in an easy-to-read way. We find it meritorious if you have experience in finance or controlling.
You are proficient in both written and spoken English.
