As Data Scientist, within the R&D Connectivity – Data Science Team, you will be responsible for the following activities:
Analyse large datasets generated by connected devices (e.g. electric water heaters, heat pumps, HVAC installations, batteries, PV panels…)
Identify, design and develop algorithms to analyze and predict product behaviour and performance (e.g. algorithm for predictive comfort, understand user habits, identify failure trends…)
Collect and organize data to support products monitoring and analysis for internal stakeholders. Design and develop suitable tools to access and visualize them.
Collect, monitor and analyse Web and Mobile applications usage data
Define new data collection and analysis processes
Manage interactions with other Ariston departments (e.g. Business units, production, markets, R&D and Quality)
Manage activities in cooperation with consultancy companies and partners, in a highly international environment
Project management activities.
YOUR PROFILE:
Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics with a brilliant academic career.
Technical experience regarding data models, data mining, machine learning, deep learning (e.g. neural networks, regressions, classification techniques) using R, Phyton (e.g. Pandas libraries, Keras, TensorFlow) programming languages
Knowledge of statistical analysis techniques
Knowledge of relational (eg MSSQL, MySQL, PostGreSQ) and non-relational DBMS (eg MongoDB, Cassandra)
Basic WebProgramming Knowledge (e.g. retrieve data from third party API)
Knowledge of tools for analytics on Web and Mobile Application (e.g. Google Analytics, Firebase)
Analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
Data visualization skills
Team working, Customer-oriented, project management attitude
