Laborie Medical Technologies is currently searching for a Master Data Analyst to join our team. This position is eligibile for remote work.


Position Overview:

The Master Data Analyst position will be responsible for leading and supporting the master data process, supports day-to-day operations that analyze and maintains master data elements for specified ERP modules, including data setup, maintenance and approval. This position coordinates and supports master data maintenance, data integrity initiatives and related business processes, ensuring total data quality in collaboration by working hand-in-hand with the business, SAP Project Team, IT and Global process owners across multiple business lines and with multiple end-end process working teams.


How you contribute:

  • Accountable for the accuracy, completeness, timeliness and management of master data within the SAP S/4 System. Compliance with business standards and procedures, as well as work to continuously improve data standards, quality, reporting and process that incudes input, change functions, auditing and data cleansing.
  • Coordinate and execute master data creation, updates and analysis in SAP S4 Hana and other ERPs
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders in domain and or business units
  • Act as a key contact for problem resolution and initiate data corrective actions based on performing/reporting data audit analysis.
  • Assist the data stewards by providing training, education and guidance regarding master data processes.
  • Undertake various master data projects as directed by the manager.
  • Database Management:
    • Enforce administrative processes and proper systematic controls for creating and maintaining Material Master Data in SAP
    • Understand impact of design changes from Engineering through Supply Chain into Production while also considering impacts to other departments (Sales & Distribution, Service, etc.)
    • Perform mass updates as required
  • Internal Communication:
    • Communicate clearly and timely all material related updates to the appropriate departments

Qualifications:

  • Completion of a community college diploma or university degree
  • 2 + years in data entry role and specific knowledge around SAP Master Data management (various modules such as Material Data, Customer, Vendor, Service & Repair etc.) is a plus
  • Previous experience in a fast-paced manufacturing, CPG business, or medical device industry
  • Familiarity with structured engineering change management environment using some form of Quality Management System
  • Excellent data entry/computer systems skills and word processing skills - including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, Visio).
  • Strong analytical thinking and methodical problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Experience in Project management is an asset
  • Process driven with ability to host Kaizen events
  • Able to understand and investigate topics related to multiple business areas
  • Able to efficiently prioritize work and timely inform stakeholders on the progress
  • Self-starter and quick thinker willing to take immediate action, pursue stakeholders and perform tasks to get the job done with a positive ‘can-do’ attitude
  • Some International travel required, must have valid passport
