As a data scientist you will work with an agile development team to build predictive models at the Nike European Logistics Campus. WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?
As a data scientist, you will assist in the translation of ambiguous statements into structured problem statements and testable hypotheses. You will analyze and profile data to uncover insights in support of scalable solutions, and clean, prepare and verify the integrity of data for analysis and model creation. You’ll also track model accuracy, ensuring model relevance and reliability. The team’s work will deliver valuable product(s) towards end-users in the end-2-end supply chain and contribute to keep improving our business operations at Nike.
WHO WILL YOU WORK WITH?
As part of the EMEA Supply Chain Analytics team, you will work in a cross functional squad with other data scientists to explore opportunities to develop and utilize statistical modeling, machine learning and optimization algorithms corresponding the needs of business partners. You’ll also collaborate with data engineers and ML engineers to enable the development and implementation of sustainable analytics solutions while maximizing business value.

What You Bring
- 5+ years of professional experience in the field of data science
- Deep understanding of how to tackle complex analytical projects in supply chain
- Ability to collaborate closely with non-technical and technical teams
- Knowledge about Python, Pyspark, AWS, Sagemaker, SQL, Airflow
- Ability to mentor and guiding data scientists
- Familiarity with agile product development
- Fluent communication skills, both verbal and written while mastering the data language
