Job Description

As an Analytics Data Management Product Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in engineering strategic data management platforms using Informatica's suite of tools, including Power Center, Data Quality, Data Catalog, and Master Data Management. Your work will involve collaborating closely with Infrastructure Architects to design and implement these platforms, both on-premises and in various cloud environments (e.g., Google Cloud, Amazon Web Services).

Key Responsibilities

Conduct thorough testing of server and client functionality.

Develop custom installation guides and Chef/Habitat scripts in compliance with our IT security policies.

Provide 2nd and 3rd level support for product-related issues.

Innovate by creating new tools and processes to ensure effective implementation and utilization of these technologies.

Implement, monitor, and analyze usage data (using tools like DynaTrace and Splunk) to optimize infrastructure performance.

Maintain a SharePoint site with comprehensive documentation, FAQs, and processes to support the adoption of these technologies.

Required Skills

Strong ability to collect and clearly document requirements.

Excellent prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple assignments.

Proficiency in creating and executing detailed project plans and test plans.

Preferred Skills

Familiarity with Linux system administration, software installation, and software support.

Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform.

Experience with PowerCenter and Data Quality, including installation and administration.

Proficiency in using Microsoft SharePoint to create information portals for engineered products.

Ability to use Microsoft Visio for editing Build Intent Diagrams for architected platforms.

Familiarity with Windows Server.

Experience

No prior experience required.

Preferred Experience

Hands-on experience working with analytics products at Ford Motor Company is a plus.

Education

Bachelor's degree required.
