About the Role:

The principal data scientist will work as part of the marketing data science group inside the broader marketing analytics team. We are now looking for a talented and motivated individual to accelerate our efforts and be a major part of our data-centric culture. The candidate will report to Senior Manager of Competitive Strategy.

Responsibilities:

• Work with analysts, data scientists, and marketing teams to optimize spend and ads performance, predict future behavior, and make robust data models.
• Carry out Marketing Mix projects, such as attribution, media mix modeling, and spend optimization.
• Work with various organizations.
• Define, develop and produce comprehensive methodologies and analytic plans for existing and new marketing initiatives.
• Design, implement, and over see the automation and interpretation of models and reports
• Work with various sources of messy data to extract insights and models.
• Initiate and drive projects to completion with minimal guidance.
• Work on multiple projects in parallel and adapt to change.

Qualifications:

• Masters or PhD in Economy, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Statistics, Physics, or similar fields.
• Solid knowledge of statistics and machine learning algorithms including deep learning, Random Forests, A/B testing, regression, baysian methods, trees, SVM, etc.
• Expert in R, SQL, and python
• Experience with Data Bricks, Hadoop, MapReduce/Spark and big data modeling
• Familiar with Tableau
• High energy and enthusiastic
• Good storyteller and communicator
• 5+ years of work experience
• Java programming skills preferred but not required
• Experience in marketing attribution, media mix modeling, ROI optimization, and consumer segmentation preferred.
