We are an established tech startup with major tech investors Frank Thelen, Sequoia Capital and Visionaries Club on our side. We are aiming at defining a new SaaS category and empower entrepreneurs and e-commerce vendors to automate their resource planning and focus on the things that matters most to them: their business. Your Tasks
- Maintain the streaming platform. Make sure that everything works as intended and runs smoothly. That also includes testing the data quality, reliability as well as performance
- As the owner of the platform, you are responsible to sit with engineering and people from other teams when it comes to implementing new streaming related features
- You ensure that the Xentral infrastructure and the application are set up to run Kafka (provisioning, performance, etc.)
- You create new events inside the application and are responsible for all streaming pipelines
- Bachelors' or above in Computer Science / Engineering or equivalent field of study
- Preferably, working experience in a comparable role
- You are experienced in working with Kafka and PHP
- You can write and maintain ETLs which operate on a variety of structured and unstructured sources
- You have excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills
- You know your way around AWS, have worked with Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience in working in a fast paced environment
- Familiarity with Data Mesh Architecture
