We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Sr. Data Analyst to join our team. As our founding data analyst, you will play a crucial role in bringing our product to market by supporting data-driven decision making and providing insights to internal and external stakeholders.

In this role, you will serve as our company's founding data analyst – we appreciate the analyst discipline and hope you'll be excited to help set the standard for all of those that follow you!


Responsibilities


  • Conduct data studies for prospective customers. Collect and analyze large datasets and identify trends, patterns, and insights that drive data-based decision making. Communicate findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Assist in development of machine learning models to support business objectives.
  • Create and maintain data visualizations, dashboards, and reports that effectively communicate complex data analysis findings to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with product, customer success, data science and engineering teams to define requirements to ensure data integrity across our systems
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data analysis, data management, and data visualization to continuously enhance analytical capabilities and provide innovative solutions.


Required Skills


  • Proficiency in SQL, python and Excel for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to data and tools to effectively convey challenges, ideas, and solutions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to effectively interpret and draw insights from complex datasets.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau) to create visually compelling and informative reports and dashboards.
  • Familiarity with data cleaning, data validation, and data quality assurance techniques to ensure accuracy and reliability of analytical outputs.


Nice-to-Have Skills


  • Familiarity with machine learning, feature development, and the model development lifecycle
  • Familiarity with fraud/risk management

Salary Range: $100k - $115k (placement within this range depends upon several factors, including the applicant's prior relevant job experience, skill set, and geographic location)
