Data Engineer SQL, Data Warehousing/ETL, Databricks/Python Contract Onsite (Bay Area)
This technical Data Engineer role requires an excellent understanding of cloud architecture and highly scalable data workflows. The ideal candidate is capable of high-quality work against technical and schedule challenges working with cross-functional teams.
The client is based in the Bay Area and would prefer local engineers you would be working 3-4 days onsite every week This is non-negotiable.

Key Requirements
- B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a comparable field.
- 8+ years of solid commercial experience designing and building data solutions.
- Must have strong experience in data warehousing concepts.
- Experience in cloud data lakes - Databricks is required.
- Must have strong experience in advanced SQL and Python.
- Must have strong Experience in ETL using different tools.
- Experience with Data Modelling is a plus.
- Experience with Public Cloud AWS preferred.
- Experience with Snowflake is nice to have.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Good Problem-solving and debugging skills.
