An outstanding opportunity to join us as Data Scientist to drive and build solutions for our internal customers within a big data platform. Studying fundamental and high impact business questions related to portfolio Credit Risk that directly affect the direction of the company and the industry at large. Design and develop pipelines and build front-end applications that let our users make sense of their data. Your responsibilities include development, maintenance, and extraction of knowledge from strategic internal data sets, as well as creation of dashboards and GUIs together with our users.

Join the Credit Portfolio Management & Analysis team, which is operating at the intersection of Strategic Risk Coverage and Credit Risk Management of SUB. We are looking for a motivated data scientist, willing to learn new technologies and help us succeed in bringing our data tools to the next level. You are willing to co-operate in a highly collaborative environment and contribute to the team's success. We expect you to be a results-oriented individual who demonstrates integrity, responsibility and confidentiality required for dealing with sensitive data.
- A Master’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Mathematics, Physics, Economics, Computer Science) or an equivalent education
- Back-end (Python, Java, SQL, C++ or R) as well as Front-End (JavaScript, HTML, CSS or similar) coding knowledge
- Experience using big data platforms including the development of big data pipelines
- Familiarity with assembling and analysing data sets from disparate sources applying quantitative methodologies
- Integrity, responsibility, and confidentiality required for dealing with sensitive data
- Dedication to fostering an inclusive culture and value diverse perspectives
