The role and opportunity
Be part of our dynamic team as a Data Analyst, collaborating closely with two Data Engineers that will support you in transforming vast raw data into actionable insights. Together we will be shaping the future of our industry with data-driven decisions.
Day to day you will:

You should be able to digest complexity and develop a plan to move forward, without losing sight of the important details.

We like to set ambitious goals and find creative ways to hit them, even if that means rolling up our sleeves and doing manual tasks before we’ve managed to fully automate them. You should have a bias towards action and getting things done.

Flexible working
We currently operate a hybrid model which is a mix of office and remote. You'll have the option of working from home 2 days per week (Monday and Friday) with the remainder from our central London office in Holborn.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and transform data requirements into actionable insights via informative reports and dynamic dashboards
- Provide valuable input on data models, schemas, and data dictionaries, contributing to data accuracy and accessibility across the organisation
- Proactively seek ways to solve business problems through data analysis, identifying opportunities to leverage data for improved decision-making and business outcomes
- Adhere to industry data security and privacy standards and regulations
- Stay informed about the latest industry best practices and data tools, sharing this knowledge with Data Engineers to enhance data engineering capabilities

Knowledge Required
- 3+ years experience in a corporate or startup environment
- Proficiency in data analysis and manipulation using SQL and Python
- Proven experience using Tableau or similar Business Analytics tools to transform business requirements into actionable insights
- Familiarity with data modelling and database design
- Understanding of data serialisation formats (e.g., Avro, Parquet, JSON, etc.)
- Awareness of compliance, governance, security, GDPR
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills
- An inclination towards automation to streamline data analysis processes
- Knowledge of Data warehouses, data lake concept, data extraction (ETL)
- Familiarity with data science and machine learning concepts
- Familiarity with Snowflake (or equivalent i.e. Redshift/Azure Analytics)
- Financial services / FinTech experience
