The ideal candidate should be prepared to:

  • Partner with product management, R-D, and ML team members to analyze, define and design the services to meet market needs
  • Provide technical and product direction for ML operations pipelines
  • Research, envision, and define standards that-ll help advance the product mission
  • Collaborate with the technology leaders across the Agilent organization to guide strategies and standards, promoting reuse


  • Advanced degree in computer science, statistics, machine learning, or related field
  • 8+ years of experience in building and deploying machine learning models
  • Computer vision experience is also beneficial in addition to core machine learning experience
  • Experience architecting and developing and supporting large scale data processing pipelines, especially in machine learning
  • Wide practical experience in general purpose languages such as Go, Java/C#, Python
  • Solid understanding of professional software engineering standard methodologies for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
  • A well-rounded technologist and teammate who can thrive in an environment with high ambiguity
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships across the company
