THE COMPANY

Our partner is an e-commerce consultancy who aims so discover emerging consumer trends in order to develop new business fields. This company is looking for a Data Engineer based in Berlin to improve the digital knowledge transfer of their companies various departments.

THE ROLE:

• Join the BI Team in the development of a strong data infrastructure which will guide the company decision-making through data products and an analytical data platform
• Create new digital services and solve business-critical problems in extremely inventive and interdisciplinary methods
• Support the team in the production of data-intensive products effectively and efficiently, exploring new business strategies and then testing them in a production environment
• Support the growth of the BI Team and help develop a team culture characterized by autonomy, trust, ownership & alignment and help promoting our data driven culture

YOUR SKILLS:

• A strong background working primarily within data warehousing and cloud technologies, ideally within AWS. You are knowledgeable about cloud infrastructure automation and management
• Very excited by client-based consulting, and an expertise in collaborating with non-tech stakeholders and breaking down technical problems and solutions in understandable ways
• Experience working hands-on with ETL processes in multiple DWH environments and expertise and creativity in graphic ETL tools (Informatica, Talend, SAS DI Studio)
• A strong background in the successful planning, development, deployment, and maintenance of cloud-based databases and a familiarity with data migration between multiple databases and data types using Apache Airflow
