The Data Analyst is responsible for creating reporting and analytics to support the WWT Services organization. The Data Analyst is responsible for having a data driven mindset and using this mindset to develop solutions that will aid Service’s leadership in decision making, learning, and analysis of their business. The Data Analyst is responsible for becoming proficient in WWT Service line processes and business to best serve their stakeholders with valuable and relevant analytical solutions that aid in simplifying the complex and driving data driven decision making.

Job Responsibilities/Essential Functions/Competencies

  • Develop reporting solutions to support the WWT services business
  • Train end users in how to use tools, and answer any questions on reporting and data
  • Present new solutions to business stakeholders
  • Learn and Innovate within their analytical platform to provide quality solutions to the business
  • Supports production issues with their reporting and data
  • Identify areas of poor data quality in the services workstream and work with respective process teams to educate on impact to data and reporting
  • Responsible for testing of new data sources
  • Responsible for working regularly with IT data teams to ensure good data quality and report performance
  • Responsible for working with users throughout the company who have questions about financial and operational data, including other analytics teams
  • Identifies areas where a process change will be required to support a reporting need and works with management to implement

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, analytics, business, or MIS required

Certifications

  • None required

Work Experience

  • 2 years of relevant business experience preferred such as analytics, project management, service delivery support, or project accounting
  • Proficiency in reporting and data visualization using software like Tableau, Power BI, and others
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office software suite
  • Experience in the information technology industry is preferred

  • Strong presentation skills, ability to professionally communicate (verbal and written) at all levels of the business with professional confidence and maturity preferred

  • Ability to work independently as well as within a team structure
