Roles and Responsibilities
Essential duties and responsibilities might typically include the following but other duties and responsibilities might be assigned:
Lead data-driven and evidence-based research to support delivery of people metrics, reporting, and advanced and predictive analytics to support the HR Leadership Team
Use platforms, programs and programming to develop key algorithms around attrition, diversity, recruitment, culture, and other important people metrics.
Translate data sets and insights into graphical visualisations and stories on key people metrics such as diversity, attrition, promotions, engagement and more.
Contribute and lead on designing academically rigorous research studies, defining hypotheses, data collection and running multiple different statistical models.
Support the Workforce Analytics team to drive a cultural change within GE Renewable Energy HR team to more data driven decision making to ensure higher workforce productivity, engagement and better returns from recruitment and learning investments.
Partner with the People Analytics Manager and HR leaders on designing data research, defining hypotheses, data collection and running multiple different statistical models.
Collaborate with and communicate broadly within the workforce analytics team, HR, IT, and the business teams to expand our data universe and publish analyses.
Experience in research design, visualization techniques, and analysis approaches in which you manage and analyse both structured and unstructured data.
Experience in advanced statistical methods around hypothesis testing, clustering, machine learning predictions, and text mining.
Experience modelling high dimensional data.
Experience with tools and languages such as SQL, R, Python, Tableau, and in the design and implementation of data pipelines that support the continuous delivery of insights.
Understanding of the external people analytics landscape and trends.
Ideally experience with people research, the human capital domain, user interface, consulting, and our industry.
Fluency in English, with professional communication skills.
Previous experience where you’ve proven success in a People Analytics role, ideally within a multinational organization is an advantage.
Proficient in MS Office Suite with expert skills in MS Excel (Macros, Pivot Tables), and PowerPoint.
Superior analytical skills with the ability to assess data and trends using both quantitative and qualitative analysis techniques.
High level of technical/system acumen – has the level of technical skills required to execute data extraction, data mining, analysis and reporting from a variety of workforce systems.
Have a strong work ethic, organization skills, the desire to learn and is not afraid to ask questions.
Excellent collaboration, influencing, and change agent skills. Ability to develop a quick a business acumen and work in a matrix
Must have excellent written, verbal, and problem-solving communication skills.
