Human Resources Data Analyst
REPORTS TO: Chief People and Culture Officer
DEPARTMENT: Human Resources-Office of Employee Success and Engagement
The primary responsibility of The Human Resources (HR) Data Analyst is to collect, manage, analyze, and report HR-related data. Reporting informs actions and strategy related to recruitment, retention, legal compliance, and other workforce objectives. Key competencies required for the position include data analysis, relationship management, communication, experience with HR / enterprise management software systems, and cultural awareness.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
In collaboration with the leadership team, manage data processes that support Human Resources functions related to recruitment, selection, employment processing, and onboarding.
Utilize strong analytical and leadership skills to coordinate, facilitate, and implement data-related processes relating to credentialing, recruitment, classification, employee records, and required human resources reporting.
Collect and compile HR metrics and data from a variety of sources including the Human Resources information system (HRIS), payroll outputs, employee surveys, exit interviews, government labor statistics, comparable organizations, and other sources.
Analyze data and generate summary statistics and reporting that provides insights into trends and patterns relevant to recruitment, hiring, staff retention and turnover, and compliance with employment laws and regulations.
Present and explain data reports to senior leadership.
Identify and recommend reasonable short and long-term goals, milestones, and benchmarks for key performance metrics.
Maintain integrity and confidentiality of departmental records and employee documentation.
Ensure system data integrity and accuracy; conduct regular reviews and audits of data systems and processes.
Assist the department and perform other duties as assigned.
Bachelor’s degree in discipline such as human resources, business administration, information science, or related field (various degree areas will be considered where experience requirements are met).
Skills and Experience
Two years serving in a data analysis capacity
Cleaning, structuring, merging, and analyzing data to identify patterns, trends, and exceptions
Working / consulting with organizational stakeholders to build data use capacity and deliver data solutions
Training others how to engage and influence through use of insights and data storytelling
KPI and benchmark development
Desirable: Experience working in a Human Resources context toward objectives such as improving employee engagement, wellness, and retention
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

SALARY AND BENEFITS
Salary Starting at $90,000
