This position demands a professional expected to be the SME (Subject Matter Expert) for OnStar Core Services, defining service performance requirements and stablishing operational reports and monitors for OnStar. This person will also be responsible to manage the core operations activities (team documentation, monitors, procedures, scripts) , driving performance improvements via changes to the Hardware, Wireless Network and BackOffice, as well as a lot of interaction with development/sustain teams for escalation, troubleshooting and issue resolution. This role demands the professional to be part of a rotational basis schedule “On Call” (24x7 accessibility via phone) and finally, a great interaction with Call Center operations, supporting cases resolutions.
Complete graduation in areas such as Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science or related;
Mandatory English communication skills (speak/listen/read/write) and intermediate/advanced Spanish communication skills;
Have analytical thinking and knowledge of ITIL methodology;
Technical background or experience in problem solving to identify, prioritize and communicate complicated technical issues
Experience in SQL and data extraction / preparation ;
Experience in Unix/Linux administration and Shell Script ;
Knowledge in BI tools and skilled in Data visualization;
Concepts of NoSQL Database and Data Streaming will be considered a differential;
Automotive Electronics knowledge will be considered a differential.
