About the role
Every one of our team contributes to helping make our members' world better. As an Investment Data Analyst in our Investment Operations & Performance team, you will contribute to the delivery and strategic sourcing of ART's Investment data ensuring a high standard of development, implementation, integration, and quality assurance measures are met. The team adheres to best practice data quality standards and processes and aim to ensure ART's Investment Data is fit for purpose, complete, accurate, timely, trusted, accessible, and meets or exceeds ART's Investment Data stakeholder expectations.

In this permanent role, as an Investment Data Analyst you will be responsible for supporting and significantly contributing to ART's Investment data stakeholder expectations. You will support daily operational data ingestion, transformation and delivery activities as well as supporting the identification and understanding of stakeholder and business requirements.

About you
If this is the right role for you, your skills and qualifications may include:

  • A degree qualification in Data Science, Analytics, Business, Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or significant commercial experience.
  • Formal qualifications or experience in Superannuation / Investment / Financial Planning Industry.
  • Experience working with validation, data accuracy and exceptions, and market and custodian data.
  • Experience in the use of high-volume data manipulation and ETL (Extract Transform Load) (Excel, SQL, DB2, SSIS).
  • Experience in task management and documentation processes and tooling (JIRA, Confluence).
  • Experience with working with external data service providers eg. Rimes, Factset.
  • Demonstrated ability to think laterally to devise solutions.
