Your new role
We are looking for a data analyst to support our client further developing dashboard solutions for the end-to-end drug substance release program within their Quality Supply Chain Analytics sub-team (Q-SCAN).
Quality is the department within Janssen Biologics that is responsible for the Quality oversight over all their production processes and releasing their products. Together with their partners they are always looking for ways to further integrate Quality intrinsically into their production processes to assure that they maintain their leading position in biomanufacturing and supports bringing more biotherapeutics at lower costs to the patients.
The team focusses on introducing data-driven solutions to 1) further support data analytics democratization across the different functions within Quality, and 2) identify & implement opportunities for process improvement and optimization. The team is building and supporting a variety of projects ranging from basic dashboard reporting to predictive modeling. In your role you will lead the improvement of Tableau dashboard, specifically improve user experience and ensure the dashboard workflow provides the relevant workflow for the intended task . Furthermore you will contribute to the GxP validation framework for Tableau dashboards (back and front end) and collaborate with digital team to develop new dashboards
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful as a Data Scientist you hold a MSc degree in Data Science, Computer Science or other relevant degrees with advanced experience in Tableau and Python. You have experience in productionizing software models using databricks preferably within biopharmaceutical industry. If you have knowledge of bioproduction processes, it will be considered as a strong plus. As a person you have t he ability to work independently as well as in a team with good verbal as well as writing communication skills in English.

What you'll get in return
Hays Detachering | This is a project that will start with a contract for 6 months through Hays. Extension to stay within the department is anticipated. It is possible to work remote for 3-4 days, however they prefer a candidate living close to Leiden to come to the site. At this position, you will get a competitive salary and your travel expenses are covered.
