Technology Enabled Data Analyst

Key Role:

Identify and collect data sources, analyze and extract key data and information, and evaluate and monitor data quality to meet the organization's information system needs and requirements. Apply specific functional and working or general industry knowledge. Develop or contribute to solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity, when needed. Work independently with some guidance and review or guide the activities of junior employees, if needed. Support analysts and aid in the understanding of tradecraft, including the data that analysts use and workflows that analysts go through to produce all-source intelligence products. Determine requirements and validate data output. Provide in-depth expertise in advance analytic methods and the value of available tools and emerging capabilities in research, exploitation, analysis, production, and dissemination.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience with enterprise-level data integration, design, or development in an intelligence community (IC) environment
  • 2+ years of experience with technical writing
  • Experience with creating visualizations with tools that include Tableau and PowerBI
  • Ability to translate feedback from business users into technical requirements
  • Ability to create data flow diagrams and leverage basic expertise in IT components
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience with data modeling and Object Based Production (OBP)
  • Experience with one or more of the following tools: JEMA, BODHI, FADE, or MIST
  • Knowledge of data science tools and using them to enhance intelligence operations through automation
  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
