How to contribute to our vision

To strengthen our innovative position within energy optimization, we are looking for a SW Data Scientist for a newly established, and dedicated System Integration team within the SW Department to create metrics, visualizations and KPI’s for our SW development.

In the System Integration team, we fulfill the role of a Solution level System Team in SAFe. Which means that we are responsible for; the SW test strategy, the enforcement of it, and the creation and maintenance of our CI build- and test environments in which automated tests are executed. We are responsible for the definition, implementation and operation of all Solution level tests. We operate 2 data centers and 2 test labs. The introduction of Continuous Delivery is a strategic goal of the company; our team has been given the responsibility of introducing it.

You will be main driver in a newly established team which in the beginning will include you and 2 student workers, plus a lot of support from DevOps teams in the system team.

Your tasks will include

  • Driving the creation of a new metrics framework helping the development teams create insight into the CI/CD environment.
  • Leading the constant improvement process and choosing appropriate tools, methods and frameworks to reach our goals.
  • Driving the creation of a new Continuous Integration environment for the individual project team, including fully automated build, unit-test, static code analysis etc.

Assessing, implementing and developing state-of-the-art SW tools and make the decision proposals. Being point of contact and responsible for introduction and training, allowing development projects to move faster.

What you need to make a difference

Passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change. We are looking for you, who wants to make real what matters and who wants to change to world to renewable energy.

The ideal candidate holds an academic degree in IT, Computer Science, Computer Science or similar, but your passion for transforming data into SW metrics and KPI’s is most important.

Further, we expect you to have a proven record with

  • Working in an agile CI/CD environment (SAFe)
  • Understanding and analyzing data to extract and present the desired info, and converting process and user inputs into concrete metrics for our users
  • Presenting complex things in a simple way to stakeholders
  • Hands-on software development getting things done in a maintainable manner
  • Tools and methods to create and implement a metrics framework
  • Building up a strong data analytics and visualization environment
  • Taking the lead in building development pipelines

You have a high professional competency and you have a desire to develop your skills. You have good collaboration skills and you can manage to act in different cultural contexts.
