Salary – up to 100,000 euros p/a

We are seeking a Senior Scala/Spark Developer with experience in data engineering to join my clients team. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of developing scalable and high-performance systems using Scala and Spark, as well as experience in data engineering.

Tasks

• Design, develop and maintain data processing systems using Scala and Spark
• Develop and maintain data pipelines using modern big data technologies
• Work with the data science team to optimize and scale machine learning algorithms
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data quality and integrity
  
  

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in software development
• Strong experience in Scala and Spark
• Experience with Java
• Experience in data engineering
• Experience with data modeling and database design
  
  

This is a fully remote role, with the expectation of 1 day per week travel to their office in Wroclaw, Poland.
