Machine Learning Engineer

Join our leading-edge Machine Learning Engineering team to develop and deliver Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) powered software solutions which support our business in an “AI First” fashion. Our AI/ML team powers impactful projects, such as personalized recommendations to patients to improve their sleep, automated identification of optimal equipment and settings, clinical models for diagnostic and therapeutic applications, and supply chain optimization. ResMed is a large public company with billions+ nights of sleep data.

As a Machine Learning Engineer (MLE) you will work with the team to build scalable AI/ML development and production systems which are able to handle big data throughput. You will use the leading-edge technologies in machine learning and cloud computing to train, serve and monitor AI/ML models in production.

This role is based in Bengaluru, India. This role requires you to move to Bengaluru and work from there. At ResMed, we are dedicated to a diverse team and inclusive work environment.

About the role:

• You will work closely with MLEs, MLOps, Data Engineers, and Data Scientists to build and extend our global AI/ML platform
• You will build MVP applications to showcase the value of AI/ML models, owning the end-to-end process
• You’ll develop re-usable production-grade functionality and automation around AI/ML feature pipelines, real-time/batch inference, continuous training, model monitoring, and moreaa
• You will participate in design sessions and brainstorm with the team on how to solve leading-edge AI problems with scalable solutions
• You’ll work closely with Data Scientists to support productionizing their use case
• You’ll use python, AWS, and terraform, perform code review and end-to-end testing
  
  

About you:


Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science or technical field
• Solid knowledge of Machine Learning Systems (model training, model inference, APIs, feature pipelines, continuous training, model monitoring)
• 4+ years of industry experience in Data Science, Machine Learning Engineering, Data Engineering, or similar
• 3+ years’ experience of AWS or other cloud platforms
• Excellent python coding skills
• Experience serving a model in production
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience using terraform & building production grade ML systems(infrastructure)
