An opportunity within the Client Intelligence team in Wealth Management to work closely with business partners across the division. Purpose of the team is to run data driven analytics to better understand our clients and transform data into actionable client insights.
The task as a Junior Data Scientist is to support in managing and transforming large, unstructured data volumes into structured information and to contribute to running and refining our predictive modelling initiatives

We leverage advanced analytics to shape our client strategy, evolve our segment-specific service models and steer business development activities through actionable client insights. We are looking for a creative candidate with out-of-the-box thinking based on facts & figures. Someone with a big-picture mind-set and ability to connect the dots. Flexibility is a core trait within the team due to working in a quickly changing environment. Moreover, precision in working with our data is an absolute prerequisite as is reliability.
- A graduate degree (Masters or PhD) in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or banking & finance with a high affinity to statistics
- 2-3+ years of experience in applying data analytics techniques, preferably in the area of customer analytics
- Excellent knowledge of R (preferred) or Python and Excel
- Strong analytical skills, ability to independently research and develop innovative analytic solutions
- Basic understanding and first experiences in statistical modelling, advanced analytics, machine learning methods and natural language processing
- Excellent written and verbal communication, ability to explain complex topics to non-specialists
- Good knowledge in Tableau would be a plus
- Proactive, service- and goal-oriented working style and a positive mindset
