Job description

The HEO Data Scientist Will Be Responsible For

Designing and developing Business Intelligence dashboards and reports for a range of customers in the ESFA.
Using interactive visualisation techniques to disseminate insights to the education sector.
Developing machine learning models and other analytical insights using data science tools such as Shiny, Power Apps.
Supporting urgent or bespoke reporting across the wider unit, including in response to Ministerial and priority requests for data.
Actively driving the development of Data Science in DfE by harvesting knowledge and defining standards & best practices.
Keeping abreast of emerging technologies and disseminating best practise through the Data Science and Analyst community in DfE.
Working well with a variety of individuals to build community, capability and credibility.
