Customer Support & Technology Solutions provides technical expertise to potential and existing customers via pre-sales support, post-sales support and professional service offerings. Within this role the primary focus is anything related to supporting our post-technical support experience. Veritas technical support engineers work 24x7 to resolve customer issues that keep our customer's information available and their enterprise resilient.

The Business Intelligence Analyst role is an exciting blend of data, business and technology. This role will work with internal customers and business operations resources to develop strategic reporting, dashboarding and data solutions across Global Services. Working closely with the business performance team, this role will assist in creating global operational templates, scorecards and dashboards to compile and standardize disparate information that drive standardized reporting and metrics tracking.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

As a Sr Data Scientist, your focus will be on applying AI/ML models and algorithms to established datasets used by the CSTS business unit. You will

• Evaluate project ideas
• Identify relevant data or data gaps
• Evaluate data quality and perform remediation
• Produce AI/ML models
• Work with other members of the Business Intelligence team to integrate model output into existing or new reports

Required Skills include:

• Post graduate degree or university based certification in Computer Science/Computer Engineering/Mathematics with at least 2 years of systems experience is preferred
• Confirmed knowledge of algorithms and design patterns
• Confirmed understanding of the Microsoft data technology stack including transactional structured query language (TSQL) and data modeling best practices
• Strong communication, problem solving and organizational skills.
• Design, develop and maintain high quality code
• Ability to collaborate with teammates and various cross-functional teams in a multinational environment to implement innovative and viable solutions
• Willingness and ability to share knowledge

Desired Skills include:

• Proficient in API fundamentals and standard methodologies.
• Experience with Power BI dataflows
• Experience with Power BI AI/ML modeling
